Spring is officially here. The blooms are full and the scents of fresh flowers are just one of the little joys in life. What are your favorite flowers? Some of mine are.. Gardenias… I am so happy to be able to grow them at our house. When I lived in Temecula I could not grow them- the heat is not their friend. Another favorite is Stalk- its simple and inexpensive and beautiful. I also like sunflowers, peonies and lavender… My Absolute favorite tree is the Magnolia tree. As a kid we had one in front of our house and I always thought the process of the bloom was so interesting. I planted one at my Temecula house and Maybe I will get one for this house (Hint Mothers Day) Anyway, the bloom of the Magnolia is also so beautiful to me. Even the leaves with the velvety feel and the deep warm green. So much elegance.
